Danco HYR451T HydroRight Universal Water-Saving Toilet Repair Kit

The Danco HYR451T HydroRight Total Repair Kit is designed to increase the efficiency of your toilet by including a Dual Flush Converter that reduces the amount of water used with each flush. The kit also helps solve the most common leaking issue in toilets, a non-functioning flapper.

The Dual Flush Converter sits vertically and solidly onto the flush valve opening, creating a better seal and eliminating the possibility of leaks. This eliminates the need for a leaky flapper, tangled chains, or handles that require jiggling.

The Total Repair Dual Flush Valve quickly and easily converts a standard toilet into a two-handle, dual flush toilet. The short center lever is the Quick Flush setting, which uses significantly lower water volumes for liquids and paper – a setting needed 4 out of 5 times. The second complete push lever at the end is the Full Flush, which uses the normal amount of water for solids.

Designed for drop-in installation, the HYR451T can be installed without tools and without having to remove the tank. The permafit silicone seal is also chlorine and chemical resistant, ensuring it will not warp.

The HYR451T combines two products, the HYR271 Dual Flush Converter and the HC630 HydroClean fill valve, to increase your toilet's efficiency.

The Dual Flush Converter works with standard 2-inch flush valves and requires a minimum 10-inch clearance from the highest point of the flush valve opening to the inside of the tank lid. It is not compatible with Mansfield toilets.

The dual-flush light-touch lever design features a short center lever for the Quick Flush setting and a second complete push lever at the end for the Full Flush. This unique split handle design saves water by using lower volumes for liquids and paper, which is needed most of the time.

It's important to note that during installation, you should not remove the overflow tube and flush valve from the toilet tank. Instead, the Dual Flush Converter is a replacement for the existing flapper, and the blue silicone dome gasket should be slid down the overflow tube, seating it into the flush valve.

The Total Repair Kit also has the ability to detect leaks and signal when a leak is found. Additionally, it can be calibrated to adjust the exact amount of water needed, further saving water.
